101 North Broad Street was built in 1929 and was the only building spared on this block during the recent Convention Center expansion. The building was purchased by Realen Properties in 2011 with the vision of a developing a hotel conveniently located RIGHT next to the Convention Center.
Today we walked by and saw a bit of activity in the long time vacant building. According to L&I this activity is sadly not the start of the promised hotel but we are very optomistic since this location is a cash cow.
